1. UK Unemployment Rate (Mar)
The UK Office for National Statistics will publish the monthly jobs report today and it will be watched more for what it says about wages than hiring. The UK Unemployment Rate is expected to stay at 4.9%.
2. Eurozone Gross Domestic Product (GDP)
The Eurozone GDP will be published today and it is expected to come out at -0.6% q-o-q growth. This would lead to an annual realization of -1.8%.
3. US Housing Data
US Housing Starts will be announced and it is a critical indicator of economic strength in the US. The market expects housing starts to ease to 1.710 mln from 1.739 mln.
US Building Permits as another key indicator of demand in the housing market measure the change in the number of new building permits issued by the government. It is expected to come out at 1.770 mln in April.
